Is there fairness in war crime trials? The answer is NO. Soviet Russia committed acts of brutality not only against German prisoners of war, but also to their own people, not to mention people that lived under Soviet occupation.  Russians confined to lagers, (they were not criminals) prayed for deliverance from Stalin's merciless regime, murders and brutality, and begged for Hitler's speedy arrival. That is the truth.

Very little is publicized on what Russians had done. Germany had committed war crimes, and did have concentration camps as did Russia and Japan. Russian Army's behaviour towards civilians was unforgivable and their unsophisticated brutality compared to the Dark Ages. Russian phobia of inteligencia and the middle classes was well known. 

Today, Russia is in great demand, or rather their oil and gas is.  So what happened to the great communist state, where every one was equal and had plenty. Plenty of what?
Communism is as good as the people themselves are. Unfortunately, people are what they are and greed and individuality will prevail. As long as these factors exist, there cannot be a pure communism.

Even Communist China has far too many corrupt politicians and members in the party, who are rotten and greedy for Western "comforts". Subjugating people is not the answer to perfect state and ideal living conditions.

     
Life and survival in German concentration camps was not much of a life to look forward. 
Those who dispute the existence of concentration camps must have extremely low level of intelligence and are idiots. However, after the war, German government paid out and is still paying out war compensation to survivors of either German concentration camps, or Russian labour camps. This last compensation was granted because people had suffered depravations and hardship caused by the Germans. That is more than Russia has done, and by all rights should be accountable for their atrocities and plundering.
It is ironic, that today Germany is not asked, but is expected to become active in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Why? God forbid that a German soldier should kill a civilian by accident. The World press will immediately brand Germany as Nazis and start digging into the "past" not to mention some lesser countries that will bring up the Holocaust and Genocide.

 
Japan is another example. The Japanese tell us, that they were not brutal; they had their "code" of honour, the Bushido.
Tell this to those who suffered and after the war many committed suicide because of pains carried with them well after the war. Are the Japanese war criminals hunted down, like their counterparts in Germany today? The answer is NO.
Japanese were murderous barbarians who literally got away with "murder".  Has the Japanese Government ever compensated ALL prisoners of war and civilians? What had been offered was an insult.
No government stood up to demand re-compensation. Let us face it. Those who fought and died had died for nothing. Those who had survived and came back home, also got nothing. Those who manufactured war material, and all peripherals, are doing extremely well and the Politicians live very happily in this world. 

         
What Russians did to some 17,000 captured Polish officers at Katyn, was something that England ,USA and France chose to ignore and not discuss, because Russia were their comrades at arms.  As a deception, Russians used German small arms, thus pointing finger at Germany. Yet it was the Germans who uncovered mass graves.
Germany advised the Red Cross.  In the end, nothing had been clarified, and Soviet Russia got away with it.
It is still a subject that is swept under the carpet. It is not my place to defend Polish cause, (let them sort it out themselves). What I am underlining here, is the rot and deceit in political circles.

When Poles fought, with hope (and allied promises) of returning to their homeland, Britain U.S.A. and Russia already decided what will happen. Her “allies” shamefully betrayed Poland, and there was no free Poland for those who fought for that country. The final insult to Poles was the refusal for their troops to take part in the victory parade after WWII.

Geographically, Poland is badly situated. If Germany decides to have a war with Russia, Poland gets it from both sides. If Russia wants to flex her muscles and wants to have a war with Germany, then once again Poland gets it in a neck.  That can be very frustrating. Thus, when Poland has a comparatively quiet period, the Poles out of sheer frustration start knocking the daylights out of Jews and blaming them for Poland's plight.

 
At the end of WWII, Britain allowed European foreigners who served in the armed forces (on British side) to settle in England. The fact that the British had suffered from acute xenophobia was very clear, and it took a lot of self-control not lash out when some fierce and misguided Englishman, would call out “go back to where you came from”. This went on for years, even in “good mannered” circles. A European was received with restraint as if she/he were ridden with some affliction. A touch of mild xenophobic paranoia?

It should be pointed out, that at no time had any European thought of making a complaint and shout “racial discrimination”.  Such ignorant remarks were ignored.

How strange it is that today any ethnic immigrant, who by honest or corrupt way came to England, is welcomed and allowed to commence shouting about discrimination and becomes abusive.  My question is; who forced you to come? It is only in recent times that women of Islamic religion have suddenly decided to cover their heads and men decided to hide behind a monstrous beard and shiny domed heads.  More than likely it is a way to irritate and deepen racial friction.  

How long can Britain keep living like an ostrich with head in sand?  England is such a beautiful country, where everything is perfectly set in "miniature. What Americans will call "quaint". I hate that expression.  So why do the British keep destroying something that had been a model to the whole world many years ago. What has happened to the British pride and love for the country?  Is it possible, that some European Countries followed Britain?   If so then it is a shame.

Today one can spread sedition under the cover of religion, and get away with it. What one sees on the news, is quite disgusting. A mob of so-called "believers" starts insulting Christians, while screaming their tonsils out and rolling eyeballs like drowning cow. To add insult to injury such morons threaten to get rid of all Christians and convert England to some idiotic Islamic state. Don't those morons think for a moment that they are immigrants and could be deported?  On the other hand, England has grown so soft that more than likely there might be a Muslim flag fluttering over House of Parliament. With the do gooders and human right activists at hand, anything is possible.

I have lived in England for some 36 years, and I am proud to be a “foreigner”. It gives me the right to criticize those who abuse any country, cheat and lie, and scream racial discrimination. Sadly, we have had enough of British “Pub Politics” and emigrated to Canada...................

 
 We found that Canada is not much different from England. We came across similar situations where majority of non-European immigrants scream racism, impose their “customs” and get away with it, while the government accommodates such people and goes out of their way in helping them. It is a pity that the Government does not support and assist their own people who are in urgent need of help.

Hundreds of millions of dollars are wasted away in helping the underdeveloped countries, who have no wish to better themselves and have become International beggars, while our cities are full of people sleeping in the streets and families that live on poverty line income and can barely survive.

I believe that before anybody starts spending taxpayer’s money on others, they should clean up their own house first.

Immediately after WWII, we had a Cold War, that escalated to new wars called “local military actions” and the killing resumed.  We have never had Peace - only a respite to re-arm. People under different slogans (excuses for killing) are the most sophisticated and brutal killing machines.
Whatever religions there are, keep them to yourselves and do not push your beliefs on others. This is not a religious stock exchange or a telemarketing system where it states, "My religion is better than yours- buy me".  Besides, I see nothing glorious or religious by cutting someone's head off and screaming that God is great. That is not religion. That is cold-blooded murder and the lowest form of "religious" intimidation.

There are more people killed through sectarian murders under the banner of “my God is better than yours” and more wars were started in the name of the All Mighty, than any "normal" conflict.
Soon enough we will all be on that "better side". What side?  Has anyone ever received a postcard from “There”?

When we refer to "the oldest profession”, we refer to prostitution. However, we forget that there are other seedy professions.
Therefore, I would like to bestow that title upon politicians. At least prostitution gives you what you paid for.  Politicians give you nothing but many well-rehearsed speeches on how they will make your life a better misery than what it was under the previous Government.

It was my belief that the people are the government. The people chose the representatives to run their country. Alas, the deformed and mutilated word "Democracy" has been abused and misused. Many politicians are nothing more than lap dogs to other countries, who under the slogan of free world and democracy, sell out their own people, principles and respect.

                                                                                                              On war in Iraq and Afghanistan
When United States started war with Iraq, and involved European countries, they have declared war on the whole Islamic World. It was the beginning to an end. First we had Korea, (big flop), then we had Vietnam (another fiasco). In each case, thousands of people died, not including the military.

Now, the so-called peacemakers are holding the Islamic tiger by the tail. Now what ? Afghanistan is not doing so well, neither is Iraq. Are we going to start another fiasco with Iran ?  It looks like it.  Iraq is not so enthusiastic to have "democracy", but they do like hundreds of millions of dollars  coming in. Do the American forces have 100% collaboration and intelligence information from the Iraqi military ? NO.  Will the occupational forces ever get full help from the local people.... NO. A final question I have is do Iraqis want occupational  forces . Again the answer is NO.

It looks that we must save face at whatever cost. Sadly, it is the cost of innocent people and our own soldiers. In the history of politics, has there ever been a case where diplomats and heads of state were shot every day or even in a very  chance of 1 in a million ? I do not think so. I am excluding instances of assassinations  on home grounds.

                                                                                                                      My view on immigrants 
To the very best of my knowledge, no immigrant had been forced at gunpoint to immigrate to the country of their choice. They were not bundled into ship and dumped into slave labour.
On the contrary, all immigrants did everything humanly possible legally or illegally, to enter a country of their choice.
Therefore, such people should not complain and start protest marches, and claiming racial discrimination. They came knowing in advance, what may happen. They took chances and that is that.  Their children should be brought up to respect the law of the new country, and not become junk peddlers and hooligans. They should learn to respect the people who allowed them to live in their country. 

No immigrant has the right to impose customs, beliefs, or their way of life on hosting country. They should not scream "racism, racial discrimination etc". If they cannot adjust themselves to their new country, they should pack up and go back where they came from.
There was a case a few years ago, where Coastguard found Asians in lifeboats, off the coast of Nova Scotia. These "refugees" claimed that the ship had sunk, and they were now at Canadian mercy.
The very fact that all the occupants wore new expensive leather clothing, were well fed, and did not show any signs of abuse, contradicted their story of being abused. At first, the Immigration tried to interrogate the "refugees" with little success. All the “refugees” said was that they escaped racial discrimination and oppression. 
Eventually it became known that the self-proclaimed refugees came from India and had political refugee status in Germany.  They lived very well on German welfare, they were housed by Germans and were paid “other family" expenses.
I fail to see where racial intolerance came from. How could such people claim that they were escaping from persecution, when they were already given political refugees status in Germany?

They had German money on them, also recent German newspapers.  As far as I know, they were given refugee status, despite the fact that German authorities advised Canadian Immigration that those Asians came from Bremen or Hamburg area.

However, if you want to come and live in Canada, holding a good position, and you have money, then you must wait at least a year before the application might be approved. You should be advised that the information you give on all the documents is almost never checked out. That is why we have here so many crooks, social outcasts and unwanted human elements.

                                                                                    How some newly arrived immigrants look at their adopted country 
Some years ago, a respected business paper in Vancouver, published an article with some photographs. They showed a car dealer’s showroom filled with Mercedes and BMW cars and many Oriental businesspersons with big smiles.
They boasted how rich they were and how well they prosper.  One man was quoted saying -"that is why we can afford beautiful Mercedes or BMWs, but you (local people) can only drive cheap cars".  That is not a polite way to make oneself popular in any country. Sadly, the “reputable business publication “printed such an article in and was quite proud of it.

Our politicians are nothing more than spineless wimps, who sell themselves to anyone who will pay for their tarnished political campaigns. They are lap dogs to the unwanted rich immigrants, followed by criminals and hoodlums from politically rotten to the core countries. We have here a Chinese billionaire, wanted in China for criminal activities. Chances are that he will not be sent back. 
 
Our immigration lets him stay under "house arrest", because he could be executed, if he was returned to China.
Now we have a Media silence on this subject. How many other "skeletons" do Federal and Provincial Governments keep in secrecy? Honest immigrants have to go through long process of screening. Crooks and other unwanted elements get red carpet treatment. Of course, Immigration is very unaware of who is let in. Later, such an immigrant will stay for years before anything is done to kick him/them out. It is rare that the public knows when such immigrants are deported.

 Our Legal system is archaic, and so are some of the judges. Crime is climbing fast, and very little is done to stop it. Police are under funded, and have to defend themselves from accusations of “brutality etc”. Provincial Governments the City Halls are overfilled with petty civil servants and well-wishers. At times one could think that we live in a make belief world.
